This stunning wedding venue is unique in the mountains in that it is an elegant indoor facility that can easily accommodate both intimate and large groups of people indoors. We met with numerous wedding planners in the area and used their input to carefully design the building to include many features ideal for weddings. It is designed with a high vaulted ceiling, crystal chandeliers, 60ft. x 40ft. professional dance floor, bridal dressing room, many bathrooms, a catering kitchen, a large fireplace on the 50ft x30ft covered deck, a wall of windows taking advantage of the magnificent long range view, and an exquisite waterfall garden beautifully situated by the building for wedding pictures.
The rental of the Grand Ballroom building includes use of the large outdoor green at the peak of the mountain with a spectacular long range view. There is also a beautiful new paver pad which is an ideal location for holding wedding ceremonies or additional space for cocktail hour or to bring yard games etc. This would give many options of how you can choose to set up your wedding. Often wedding couples have their ceremony on the stone paver pad or wedding green, move onto the covered veranda for cocktail hour, and into the venue for their wedding reception, dinner & dancing.
You are welcome to bring your own caterers and there are no upcharges or corking fees for using outside vendors. We are always happy to help make the wedding planning process easy by recommending great local vendors in the area.
Sky Retreat staff is provided on the property to coordinate parking during events. There are also items such as a golf cart shuttle, wedding arbors, and a gas fire pit for roasting s'mores available for rent.
